Media Enterprises, Inc. was created in 1992 by partners Brad Specter and Bill McAlister, two bright young professionals with a combined 45 years experience in on-air marketing, manufacturing and consumer product sales & distribution. From the start, their mission was to push the envelope of conventional sales & marketing practices to achieve a superior level of quality and excellence.
In the process, the firm diversified and opened a new company, Natures Pillows, Inc. DBA NPI which distributes products. Then, through Direct Response, Inc., another company owned by Bill and Brad, undertook the production of various 2 minute spots and infomercials under contract with some of the industry's premier short and long-form producers.
Media Enterprises' initial successes can be traced directly to the hard-charging, ambitious pace that the firm's two principal owners have established.
Brad Specter, who oversees all three firm's operations, retail sales & distribution, is a veteran of QVC. As a core contributor at the fledgling TV home shopping network in the mid 80s through early 90s, he was responsible for the purchasing and on-air marketing of all hard-line products. Industry observers agree that Brad's seven-year stint with QVC proved to be a significant building block for its hard-line business, boosting that segment to over $300 million
in retail, on-air sales.
Bill McAlister is responsible for sourcing new products and developing marketing on air strategies, both for pre-recorded TV and live TV, which ensure their success. He has nearly two decades of experience in the manufacture TV market business of consumer direct response products. A savvy, high-energy, people person,

Today, with a sales staff of over 70 men and woman, a satellite office in Orange County, CA, Media Enterprises, Inc. represents most of the leading direct response consumer products that are featured via direct response TV. The firm's extensive retail distribution network includes all of the nation's discount, department store, supermarket,
warehouse club, drug, specialty & variety retail stores. And its catalog and print distribution has
